HIGH-TEMPERATURE TEXTILES
Technological advances in recent years have generated a wide range of textile resistant to heat, destinated to replace initially asbestos and today refractory ceramic fibres.
These textiles have applications in all industrial sectors for continuous temperatures up to 1200 ° C (2192°F) and are selected depending on the thermal and chemical environment in which they are used.

The different qualities
E Glass
For applications up to 500 ° C (932°F). Resistance to water vapor. Good chemical inertness.
Superwool 607
Threads obtained from the Superwool 607 ® fibre with glass reinforcement or NiCr reinforcement for temperatures up to 1100°C (2012°F). Sensitive to water vapor. Can be chemically attacked by some compounds.
Silica
Silica content between 92 and 97%. With or without NiCr reinforcement for temperatures up to 1400°C (2552°F). Excellent chemical resistance. Insensitive to water vapor.
RCFs (Refractory Ceramic Fibres)
Under current legislation, these fibres are classified as group 2 (carcinogenic for humans) and their use should be restricted only to the applications where any other product can be used. For temperatures up to 1200 ° C (2192°F).
