Refractory anchors for Fibres and Concretes HIGH-TEMPERATURE INSULATING FIBRESThe high-temperature insulating fibres find their applications in insulation for industrial ovens, petrochemical, ceramic industry, glass industry, siderurgy, ... The advantages of high-temperature insulating fibres:
Typical applications of high-temperature insulating fibres:
Superwool® Superwool is a wool of high-temperature insulating, composed of silicate alkaline fibres. Superwool is exonerated from carcinogenic classification and meets the requirements requested under NOTA Q of the European directive 67/548/CEE. All Superwool® fibre products are exonerated from classification & labelling regulation in Europe.
Superwool was developed to be an alternative to the RCFs (Refractory Ceramic Fibres) due to its biosolubility and its exoneration. Superwool® products line offers alternatives to the RCFs in the majority of industrial applications.
Waste from Superwool® applications are exempt from classification. The Thermal Ceramics Superwool™ technology is available in many forms such as : Fibre bulk, blanket, panel, felt, paper, molded vacuum fibre, Pyrolog®, Pyrobloc®, Z-bloks® and sealants. Superwool® line Superwool 607 HT : Classification Temperature 1300°C (2372°F) The only Fibre in the world with biosolubility, classified at 1300°C. Superwool PLUS : Classification Temperature 1200°C (2192°F) New Fibre Superwool Plus improved for energy conservation and environment respect. Advantages: Excellent thermal insulating properties. No binders or lubricant Thermal stability Good sound absorption Exempt from any carcinogenic classification Other Refractory fibres Fibres mainly composed of alumina and silica. These fibres are classified as carcinogens in Group 2 by the European Union. Cerablanket : classification temperature 1260°C (2300°F) Cerachemblanket : classification temperature 1427°C (2600°F) Maftec Blanket : classification 1600°C (2912°F)
